AUDIOVISUAL
Background
Since the 1980s the Audio Visual Division of Telmaco has been actively involved in provision of Video projection facilities for Control Rooms, Theatres and Conference facilities. The Division was significantly expanded in 1994 with lighting, sound, stage and AV system specialists to serve the multiple requirements of the Athens Concert Hall extension and the development of multipurpose conference facilities all over Greece. In addition to the large Athens Concert Hall project, a number of large projects were successfully carried out in Thessaloniki for the European Cultural Capital in 1996 working closely with architects, building contractors and equipment suppliers.
The AV Division
Telmaco’s AV Division comprises of specialists in all areas of AudioVisual technology, from Lighting, Sound Reinforcement/Recording and Acoustics to Control and Automation Systems, Architectural and Stage Design, Video Projection, Simultaneous Translation, Voting and Information Systems, Signage, Surtitling and all the fields associated with modern AudioVisual installations. Together with Telmaco’s Broadcast and Telecom Division, TV Production and Broadcasting facilities can also be provided together with Archiving and Editing. Telmaco works alongside Architects, Construction Companies and 3rd party Consultants and suppliers to ensure the smooth running and satisfactory completion of even the largest and most complex project, thanks to it’s in-house Project Management Team, Logistics and Technical Support team.
The success of the AudioVisual Division is reflected in the very large number of customers in Greece, Cyprus and more recently internationally, with systems supplied to Malta, the Middle East, Far East and ongoing projects in Northern Europe and Central Africa.
