Greek Parliament, Camera Upgrade Project, Greece
Who is Greek Parliament
The Greek Parliament is the official parliament of the Greek democracy. It operates 5 different Halls where political debates are made. It also operates a National Free-to-Air TV Channel.
Camera Upgrade Project, 2020-2021
In 2020, Telmaco was awarded, through an international tender, the turnkey project to upgrade the complete broadcast robotic camera system of the Parliament with HD cameras.
Project Description
The main system consists of 11 x Broadcast HD Cameras of Grass Valley LDX82 series, with 8 x Fujinon ZA17X7.6 Broadcast standard lenses and 3 x Fujinon ZA12x4.5 Broadcast wide lenses. Each of the cameras is fitted on a Vinten FHR-35 robotic head with silent operation, which is mounted on a special position within the main and secondaries auditorium. All cameras were controlled from 3 different control rooms.
The delicacy of this project is the mounting of the each of the robotic camera systems on the wall. The building is a national heritage building, and the contractors was not allowed to make any changes on the walls. The installation team worked with a lot of preparation of the mounting kits, and managed to deliver all the new cameras mounted on the same positions as the old cameras.
Telmaco supported the above systems with 2 years of warranty and on-site support.
